As Summer comes to a close, we start to prepare for, in our opinion, the BEST season of all: Fall! Cool breezes, hot apple cider, falling leaves, we love it all. With a new season comes new trends, and who doesn’t like to switch up their decor? In this article, we will be breaking down our favorite new trends for Fall 2021, letting you know what’s hot this season.
Earthy & Natural
We feel very in tune and attracted to nature in the Fall, so it is not a surprise that earthy tones and natural textures are a trend this year. Experiment with different greens and browns, along with wood and clay textures to bring the outdoors in. Great ways to incorporate these trends are with clay pottery, house plants, accent pillows and blankets, and wall art.
Velvet
Give your home a touch of luxury with one of our favorite trends, velvet! Not only is it soft to the touch and beautiful to look at, velvet makes any space look elegant. Even if you aren’t ready to commit to an entire couch, adding velvet pillows or even a headboard to your bed will elevate the space entirely.
Not-Your-Mother’s Pumpkins
Step aside, jack o’lanterns; orange is so last year. We’re getting funky with your pumpkins and going for different colors and shapes. There are so many varieties to choose from these days, it’d be a shame to just stick with the classic orange.
Gold & Glam
Gold is SO in this year, and for good reason. With gold accents, everything feels rich. The tones are beautiful and shiny, adding light to your space and making it feel luxurious. We can’t get enough of it. Tip: Add gold hardware to your cabinets and doors to give them a whole new look!
Cozy Chic
Embrace the hygge style of life and get cozy! Fall is the best time to curl up with a good book or cup of coffee, and just relax. You can make your space feel more inviting by adding candles, chunky knit blankets, comfy pillows, and soft lighting. Whatever makes you feel the most ‘at home’.
